BancTec, Inc. recently obtained ISO 9001 certification, the international standard for quality management systems, for the outsourcing services offered by our image information solutions business unit. This certification was obtained on October 19, 2009 after undergoing an assessment by SGS Japan Inc. that took place from July to September 2009.
The range of services recognized by the certification includes "Entrusted scanning of business forms and documents" and "Management of entrusted scanning of business forms and documents," and the divisions qualified include the Solution Business 1st and 2nd Divisions (Kawasaki Head Office), the Administration Division (Kawasaki Head Office), the Outsourcing Division (Hamamatsucho Office) and the Yokohama P21 Center (Yokohama). The number of divisions qualifying for this certification will be gradually increased in the future.
We are currently increasing our efforts to improve service quality company-wide while we propose consolidated solutions utilizing image information. As a result of obtaining certification of the quality management systems in our outsourcing business, we are further determined to continue our efforts to improve service quality in order to satisfy our customers.
